Our products
ABiTEP has extensive know-how in the field of crop protection, food and feed crops. We also offer suitable bacterial products for composting and biological cleaning agents.

Soil additives
The use of soil additives promotes vital, healthy plant growth and contributes to the improvement of natural soil life. Depending on the task and the conditions of use, there are various microbial products to choose from.
- RhizoVital®42
- RhizoFert®
- RhizoVital®P45
- FZB®24
RhizoVital 42
is a liquid soil additive using living, naturally occurring microorganisms (Bacillus velezensis FZB42; > 25 billion spores per mL) to stimulate plant growth and improve the vitality of plants, especially for use in crops, turf and seeds. It is characterized by a long shelf life, miscibility with other products and a wide range of uses such as dipping, pouring, spraying or in hydroponics. In addition to the liquid formulation, RhizoVital®42 is also offered as a dry preparation (SB, TB) on various carriers for use as a mordant, substrate admixture or for seed treatment.
RhizoFert®
is a liquid soil additive using cold-tolerant, naturally occurring microorganisms (Bacillus atrophaeus Abi05; > 25 billion spores per mL) that promote healthy soil life, improve the vitality and yield of the plants and support healthy plant growth. The strain Bacillus atrophaeus ABi05 in RhizoFert® grows from a temperature of 8 ° C. In addition to the liquid formulation, RhizoFert® can also be offered as a dry preparation on various carriers for use as a mordant or substrate admixture.
RhizoVital®P45
is a liquid soil additive using living, naturally occurring rhizobacteria (Bacillus velezensis FZB45; > 25 billion spores per mL) to stimulate plant growth through additional phosphate mobilization. It is characterized by a long shelf life, miscibility with other products and a wide range of uses such as dipping, pouring, spraying or in hydroponics.
In addition to the liquid formulation, RhizoVital®P45 can also be offered as a dry preparation on various carriers for use as a mordant or admixture of substrates.
FZB®24
is a liquid soil additive using living, naturally occurring microorganisms (Bacillus velezensis ABi19; > 25 billion spores per mL) to stimulate plant growth and improve the vitality of plants. In addition to the liquid formulation, FZB®24 can also be offered as a dry preparation (SB, TB, WG) on various carriers for use as a mordant, admixture of substrates or for seed treatment.
Starter cultures
Non-sporulating bacterial genera are summarized as starter cultures, which are processed in liquid fermentation with subsequent drying processes under a clean room atmosphere to high-purity concentrates, which are used in processing industry for the food and feed market. Here, customer requests and years of experience merge into high-quality products. Therefore emphasis is not only placed on guaranteed freedom from genetic engineering, but also on special customer requests.
Biological Cleaning
As a manufacturer of microbiological additives, ABiTEP GmbH offers environmentally friendly and biodegradable products for cleaning and composting purposes. The enzymatic abilities of naturally occurring microorganisms are used to accelerate the decomposition processes of organic substances. Our products are tailor-made for various areas of application such as odor control, surface treatments and the cleaning of drains and grease traps. In this way we reduce the use of chemicals and disinfectants and use nature’s cleaning power.
- Lipolyt®ARR
- Lipolyt®GEF
- Lipolyt®TOI
- Lipolyt®FAP
- Lipolyt®2000
- PERALDEX® Pond cleaner
- PERALDEX® AMS
Lipolyt®ARR - The pipe cleaner
The microbiological pipe cleaner with 100 million naturally occurring Bacillus per mL helps to break down fats and other organic substances in drains. Preventive use with a lasting effect.
Lipolyt®GEF - the odor remover
The microbiological odor remover for the reliable removal of organic smells. With its 100 million naturally occurring Bacillus per mL, its deodorising effect can be sprayed and used in wiping care.
Lipolyt®TOI - Toilet additive
The microbiological toilet additive removes odors and decomposes solid substances. The enzymatic power of naturally occurring Bacillus strains can have an effect both in waste water tanks and in portable camping toilets.
Lipolyt®FAP – The fat cracker
The microbiological fat cracker breaks down a medium 100 million naturally occurring Bacillus per mL of fat and organic substances in fat separators. Regular use leads to lasting effects.
Lipolyt®2000 - The fat cracker with two components
The microbiological fat cracker with two components breaks down fats and other organic substances in pipes and pumping stations. The enzymatic abilities of several naturally occurring Bacillus strains are used in a sustainable way.
PERALDEX® Pond cleaner
The microbiological pond additive ensures improved pond flora and fauna. With 1 billion naturally occurring Bacillus per mL, the degradation of organic substances reliably reduces turbidity.
PERALDEX® AMS
PERALDEX® AMS: The biological impregnating agent for use on facades, plaster, concrete and similar surfaces with 100 million naturally occurring Bacillus per mL prevents the growth of algae, moss and mold.
Composting additives
Our biological composting agents from various naturally occurring Bacillus strains with specific enzymatic abilities are ideally suited for mixing in fertilizers and for producing high-quality composts. Defined concentrations of Bacillus spores guarantee a more effective breakdown of organic waste and thus a reduction in odor pollution – residue-free and without the use of pesticides.
- ABiSAN®
- ABiCell
- ABiFERT
ABiSAN®
The liquid biological soil additive using the naturally occurring species B.velenzensis, B.licheniformis and B.amyloliquefacienswith a concentration of 25 billion per milliliter. The use of these crops speeds up composting and sanitizes the compost by inhibiting pathogenic germs.
ABiCell
The liquid biological soil additive with 25 billion naturally occurring Bacillus per mL to support the composting process. Composting is significantly accelerated due to its high enzymatic activity.

The biological soil additive with 50 billion naturally occurring Bacillus per gram (species B.licheniformis, B.amyloliquefaciens, B.megaterium und B.pumilus) on organic carrier material. ABiFERT is suitable for mixing in fertilizer and is used to produce high-quality composts.
Our procedures
ABiTEP has decades of experience, which is implemented to the best possible products by motivated and trained staff. Our focus is on liquid fermentation in modern bioreactors with subsequent concentration and processing. The bioreactor sizes range from 0.25 liters, through various intermediate sizes to industrial scales of up to 7200 liters, which are each supported with size-appropriate processing methods such as separation, freeze-drying and mixing processes. A high degree of automation, as well as constant process control and recording ensure constant and traceable quality.
- Fermentation
- Down stream processing
The production of homogeneous concentrates is just as established as mixing processes on carriers according to customer specifications. Mills and mixers are available in various sizes, which also fulfill high purity requirements. In addition, ABiTEP is constantly concerned with development of innovative processes in order to be able to use the potential of microbial products for a wide range of applications in the future.
Research and Development
Our own products are continuously developed by our motivated team of experienced employees. A wide range of laboratory equipment enables us to develop, carry out and analyze fermentations on a laboratory scale (250 ml to 15 L), freeze-drying and spray-drying tests. We are in constant contact with universities and external research institutions across Germany and Europe to always be one step ahead.
Using the latest technology and our know-how, we create tailor-made and creative solutions for our customers.
